A little boy travels to the high country in search of God to ask him to save his wounded father. However, the man he finds there is really a fugitive from justice.
Trivia: This is Leif Erickson’s second and final appearance in the series. He is probably best remembered for his role in David Dortort’s other series, The High Chaparral as Big John Cannon.
This was Clint Howard’s first and only appearance in the series. He is Actor/Director/Producer Ron Howard’s younger brother.
This script was started in 1964, with Pernell Roberts’ Adam being the main Cartwright in the story. The outdoor shots necessary for this episode could not be shot until the following year, which was after Roberts’ departure from the series.
