All three of Ben’s children had entirely different experiences growing up. My heart does break for Adam though, for his lack of childhood. Perhaps it’s not too late after all.
Well they better late then never. Ben is a good Pa, Life tough for him and Adam when Adam was growing up. Thanks
I may have to give that “stay a year” bargain one of the famous Cartwright eyebrow arches. What is Ben going to do if, after that year, Adam just says, “Okay, I’m off to Grandpa Stoddard’s now; you said I could go”? An interesting look at Adam’s childhood, including a delightful approach to the new problem, “You and are the only ones with baby experience.” That one made me grin.
That is exactly what I thought!!!
How sad for Adam to have missed so much childhood and for Ben not to have noticed. I smiled at Ben’s bargain and Adam’s agreement to stay for a year, but it was still sad that he felt that way. I’m glad his father saw the light and would make some changes.
