Vigilantes – by Rona <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: Taking the law into your own hands is never the answer, as the Cartwrights discover. Vine #1 – Cold Fingers Around My Throat \u2013 by BettyHT\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: A story within a story with a prequel in the main story. Little Joe had a nasty prank played on him when he was ten, and fourteen years later, a similar situation is playing out again. He blamed Adam the first time, but he doesn’t know who to blame the second time. Vine #2 – Cold Vine \u2013 by BettyHT\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: Follows Cold Fingers Around My Throat and answers some of the questions left unanswered at the end of that scary story and moves the story along a bit further as the family fights evil. Vine #3 – Cold Hearts, Warm Hearts \u2013 by BettyHT\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: The third story in the Vine series answers the last question of who sent the vine, but there is also an examination of Marie’s background to explain the motivation for that act. The story may not make sense in every part unless you have read the first two stories in the series. Virginia City Tea Party – by Heike <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 In Virginia City ladies know how to celebrate a proper tea party. Virginia Series #1 \u2013 Never Too Late To Say You\u2019re Sorry – by BettyHT <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 Adam has been gone from the Ponderosa for ten years. His family knows little of his life but then Ben decides it’s time for at least a visit. There’s a backstory to explain Adam leaving, and flashbacks to explain his personal life, and then the reunion and the results of that as old grievances are aired and new relationships are forged. Virginia Series #2 \u2013 Like Father, Like Son – by BettyHT <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 Adam’s son Garrett finds that he has some experiences much like his father had as a youth, and Adam can help him with those because of it. The story follows the Never Too Late To Say You’re Sorry story, and has the same OCs. Vision (The) #1 – by BluewindFarm <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: Ben\u2019s wife reflects on the past and contemplates a vision of what is soon to come.\u00a0 What happened later for Marie, My Love. Vision (The) #2 \u2013 the epilogue – by BluewindFarm <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 Her dream is a reality and now they wait for the most important delivery.. Visit (The) – by Starlite <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0Adam’s Grandfather comes to the Ponderosa for a visit. Visitor (The) – by SusanG <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 A stranger repays more than the value of the original good deed. Visits #1 – A Visit – by BettyHT<\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 A somewhat metaphysical explanation of what happened to Adam after he left the Ponderosa in a story set in the time period immediately after the death of Hoss. Though the story is about what happened to Adam, Joe is the central character. Visits #2 – Another Visit – by BettyHT<\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 This story follows A Visit<\/em> and probably makes more sense if you read that one first.\u00a0 Joe receives a second visit but this one follows the tragedy with Alice and after Joe has returned home.\u00a0 Although the material is still serious in nature, the story is in a much lighter tone than the previous one. Visits #3 – Angelic Visit – by BettyHT<\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 This is the third and final part of the Visit series.\u00a0 In this story, the focus is on Ben who has had suspicions of what has been happening and those are confirmed and a revelation is made that explains why he knew.\u00a0 Joe and Candy are also part of this story. Viva la Brothers! – by freyakendra <\/a><\/p>\n Summary: After a night of brotherly bonding is complicated by a group of distrustful vaqueros and a jug of pulque, the morning after — two days later — opens Adam\u2019s eyes to a whole new dimension in his relationship with Little Joe. Vivian #1 – by pjb <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 Joe grapples with a moral dilemma when he falls in love with another man’s wife. \u00a0Fist in a series. Vivian #2 -Another Auld Lang Syne – by pjb <\/a><\/p>\n Summary:\u00a0 Just before his wedding, Joe meets up with the woman he once loved\u2014and thought he\u2019d lost forever. This is a sequel to Vivian and refers to characters and events from that story.
