This project is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Bonanza fanfiction authors who have been lost<\/em> to the fandom through the years.\u00a0 Writers disappear for a variety of reasons, and some not of their choosing.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the past, Brand would only include stories with permission.\u00a0 However, Bonanza is not the only fandom to have lost many early-era authors.\u00a0 After speaking with administrators from other fanfiction sites, we decided to change our policy.\u00a0 Brand now considers it our responsibility to preserve Bonanza stories written by its fans.\u00a0 If not granted a new home,<\/em> these stories would be lost to readers. To prevent this from happening, the Brandsters will archive as many stories as possible in the Bonanza Brand Fanfiction Library in a new section specifically dedicated to Preserving Their Legacy<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The authors\/stories included in this project have been submitted by members who downloaded\/received copies of these stories years ago or by the Brandsters perusing the WayBackMachine.org.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Brandsters acknowledge that the authors are the owners of their stories<\/em>.\u00a0 Should an author included in this project reach out to us and indicate they do not wish their work to be archived in the Bonanza Brand Fanfiction Library, we will remove their stories.\u00a0 At the same time, should an author contact us to continue to have their stories archived, we would also be happy to update their contact information.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are a few writers who have requested that we remove their stories from the Library or not include their stories in this project.\u00a0 The Brandsters will continue to honor these requests.<\/p>\n

As part of this project, the Brandsters reached out to two early-era authors to ask if they would allow their stories to be published in the Library.\u00a0 <\/span>Previously, their works were only available via request.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Brandsters have offered a home to the stories written by authors from Bonanza Trail Riders which shut down in late 2024.\u00a0 Many of the authors were already authors at Brand, and their stories will be added to their Stories by Author pages.\u00a0 But for those who weren’t, we have included their stories as part of this project.\u00a0 \u00a0Bonanza Trail Riders<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
