JOURNEY TO THE SEA<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My love is a happy harbor<\/p>\n

An Eden by the sea<\/p>\n

With moorings deep and sturdy<\/p>\n

She firmly anchors me<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My love is a lighthouse beacon<\/p>\n

To guide me in the storm<\/p>\n

A lifeline to a sheltered port<\/p>\n

Where I am safe and warm<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My love is a rolling river<\/p>\n

Disappearing ’round the bend<\/p>\n

What lies beyond, a mystery<\/p>\n

Whispered on the wind<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My love is an endless ocean<\/p>\n

Tempestuous and wild<\/p>\n

Beneath the swell of crashing waves<\/p>\n

I tremble like a child<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mercurial and fathomless<\/p>\n

She holds me with her spell<\/p>\n

Steals my breath with just one kiss<\/p>\n

And drown I might as well<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then with a mother\u2019s tenderness<\/p>\n

She leads me to the shore<\/p>\n

I see my future in her eyes<\/p>\n

And I am home once more<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

GIRL IN THE MOONLIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is a girl both young and fair<\/p>\n

As sweet and lovely as can be<\/p>\n

A rosebud on the brink of bloom<\/p>\n

Wise in ways she cannot see<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So brightly shines her tender light<\/p>\n

It shames the stars from whence she came<\/p>\n

Heaven’s gift, by Love and Grace<\/p>\n

Where all the angels know her name<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The moon falls softly on her face<\/p>\n

And rings a halo ’round her hair<\/p>\n

A moment, soon a memory<\/p>\n

Would that I could keep her there<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Her laughter is my soul’s delight<\/p>\n

And at her smile my heart can break<\/p>\n

Unknowingly, she passes by<\/p>\n

Leaving stardust in her wake<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
