A wreath of Ponderosa pine<\/p>\n

Tells me that it’s Christmas time.<\/p>\n

Outside, a fleece of shim’ring snow,<\/p>\n

Within, bathed by the firelight’s glow,<\/p>\n

Sit Ben and Adam, Hoss and Joe,<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the year that’s passed<\/p>\n

And all the blessings they’ve amassed:<\/p>\n

The lasting bond of four strong men,<\/p>\n

The love of warm and faithful friends.<\/p>\n

True wealth upon which life depends.<\/p>\n

What happiness these walls have known,<\/p>\n

As boys to manhood here have grown.<\/p>\n

So many joys, but hardships, too,<\/p>\n

Combine to create heroes true,<\/p>\n

And fellowship ‘twixt me and you!<\/p>\n
