In honor of National Limerick Day which was May 12th, I found a couple of good ones, very different in content. The first I’m not sure who to credit but the 2nd is by Oliver Wendell Holmes<\/p>\n

The limerick packs laughs anatomical
\nInto space that is quite economical.
\nBut the good ones I\u2019ve seen
\nSo seldom are clean
\nAnd the clean ones so seldom are comical.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s plan made a hopeful beginning.
\nBut man spoiled his chances by sinning.
\nWe trust that the story
\nWill end in God\u2019s glory,
\nBut at present the other side\u2019s winning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
