Bonanza<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong> Christmas Has Come<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Soft falls the silent snow, Round the fire we all sit, Three for one and one for all, This one waxes like the moon, Smallest nestles like a chick A babe so like that one long ago Safe at home in an ocean of red, She is not there.\u00a0\u00a0She could not stay. \nSlow, slow amidst the glow
\nOf campfire kindled and heart alight;
\nBright, bright fire on a snowy night.<\/p>\n
\nWhilst snow flies and birds flit
\nWith wide white wings against the sky;
\nBrown leaves crunch in the brush nearby.<\/p>\n
\nTwo tall and one small,
\nBrothers now and brothers forever;
\nAlone on this night in the woods together.<\/p>\n
\nPoetic soul with a melancholy tune.
\nThe second with a heart of gold;
\nTall as a mountain; young and old.<\/p>\n
\nBeneath a wing of corduroy thick
\nAnd gold as the fire in his curls;
\nLashes lowered, lush as a girl\u2019s.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in a bleak midwinter of snow;
\nBorn to live and born to die;
\nA sacrifice to the One on high.<\/p>\n
\nWell-worn leather cradles a weary head.
\nA hand reaches out to find the touch
\nOf the beautiful one he loved so much.<\/p>\n
\nHeaven took his heart away,
\nExcept for the heart beneath this wing;
\nThe little chick for which this poet sings.<\/p>\n
\nWhy has Mama gone to Heaven?
\n\u2018To sing with the angels\u2019, I reply.
\n\u2018To worship Him who is on high.\u2019<\/p>\n
\nAnd while his tears on my flesh still linger
\nI point to the star that blazes above
\nRadiating with a mother\u2019s love.<\/p>\n
\n\u2018Your mother is here even now.
\nShe\u2019s a part no longer, but a whole.
\nShe\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0your heart and\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0your soul.\u2019<\/p>\n
