Hoss becomes Joe’s lawyer after Hop Sing tells him they can use the ancient Chinese art of fingerprinting to prove Joe is innocent of murder.

Trivia: This was Frizzell’s first appearance in the series. He would return in Season 12 as recurring character Dusty Rhodes, appearing in seven episodes.
