This was absolutely beautiful. You have such a way with words whether you are making my eyes mist up from this sweet story, or keeping me on the edge of my seat with your Bedeviled story. You are such a talented writer, and I think mabye old Hemmingway is whispering in your ears! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful gift with us…awesome!!

You did such an amazing job, Freya. I loved the hug between Adam and Joe, you described it perfectly! I’m such a sucker for ‘Adam coming home’ stories and this one is beautiful! Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you! I’ve always wanted to see Adam come home. I’ve read some very good stories about it. This one just sort of…happened. I can’t even say exactly where it came from–it just *came* and then had to be written. I’ve very glad it turned out to be so well received. Thanks, again!

Oh, thank you! To feel as though you know her pretty well just by some careful dialogue–sometimes for real, and sometimes just in Adam’s head–well, that means I captured what I wanted to capture! I’m so glad you felt a connection with her!

Thank you! This one has deep meaning to me, and I wanted to get it *just right*. It became especially important when I found myself facing the loss of a friend–a terminal diagnosis. I started writing this before the diagnosis, but didn’t finish until after her too-quick passing. She was not the woman in this story; they are very different types of people (though both of Irish decent–my friend was also of Scottish decent, and in fact traced her roots as a *direct* decendent of MacBeth). But the message is still the same. So long as we can breathe, and our eyes can see, so long lives this and this gives life to thee….;)
