Thank you so much for sharing this story, Krysynaw! You did an excellent job with your OC’s; Veroon was such a likeable character. The Cartwrights were perfect in the way they got involved. They never could just stand by and let evil win; but such a high price to pay for justice . . .

This story meant a lot to me, the first I was able to write after my husband was killed, and Veroon was the name of the reader who suggested I write it. I am so glad you liked her. Krystyna

Oh, this was always a favourite! I’m not a big fan of giving Adam a companion for life (very hypocrite of me, I know 🙂 ) but I’d actually have loved to see the Cartwright Curse not striking this time. What an excellent wife Veroon would have made!
