Date: 19 Jan 2011 11:03 am Title: Middle Child Syndrome Poor Hoss, I bet he was feeling just a little bit jealous when Joseph was born and he lost his place as the baby of the familyBut being Hoss, he would have soon got over that and just wanted to help look after his baby brother, as Adam had looked after him.It was good that Marie realised Hoss needed to start being given some responsibility for Joe, although I am sure that in the future there will be times wshen he wishes he wasn’t responsible for him, seeing as how Joe turns out to be such a mischief magnet LOLLittle Joe foreverLynneAuthor’s Response:Thank you, Lynne. As a middle child myself, I often felt overlooked after my younger brother was born. Ben might not have understood what was wrong with Hoss but Marie could tell the boy only wanted to help. I’m so pleased to know you enjoyed this story.

A sweet little story! It can be difficult when a new member of the family arrives. If anyone can handle it, though, it’s Hoss.
This is an adorable story!
Enjoy these stories. I was a bonanza fan as a kid. Now i’m a ma of three grown sons. Stories bring back memories of my youth and raising my sons.
In fact, middle children develop personality traits that help them succeed in jobs and relationships even faster than their older and younger siblings.
Nicely done, Roomie! You have a good feel for a young Hoss.
That Hoss a pretty cute little boy. I love these stories about the Cartwright boys when they were young. thanks
Aw, poor Hoss. It’s tough not to be able to hold the baby! Glad Marie got all set to rights, though …
Thx for writing!
