  1. This is one of my favorite stories. You are quite the writer. Joseph’s moments with Adam are so precious and brought tears to my eyes. This is definitely a story I hope to read again and again. I love your stories!

    1. Thank you! This was one of my first Bonanza ideas that made it into a story so I’m glad you enjoyed it. You are welcome back any time.

  2. Questfan gracias. Gracias y gracias. Es una de las historias más bellas y llenas de ese amor fraternal que comparten los muchachos Cartwright. Cuanto amor y cuanta dedicación y devoción entre Little Joe y Adam. He podido sentir ese abrazo final entre los hermanos y por supuesto que he llorado como un bebé. Gracias de nuevo

    1. I’m so sorry I missed this lovely comment until now. I think I made myself cry while writing it!

  3. This is absolutely one of my favorite Adam and Joe stories, and I’ve come back to it on multiple occasions!
It has all of the perfect elements – action and drama, heart wrenching emotion, but most of all, moments precious between brothers, when both realize how much one means to the other.

    1. Thank you so much. It’s always a huge compliment that anybody comes back for another read of a story and I’m glad you enjoyed it so much.

    1. That means a lot that you’d come back and read a story again. I love Adam and Joe together so am glad you enjoy it so much too.

  4. great story, love how you had Ben trying to help Joe and Adam . Both Adam and Joe started to realised what is important to them. I liked how you ended the story

    1. Sorry, I somehow missed this review. I’m glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for letting me know.

  5. Soooooooooo sweet end!!I loved It!!I hope in reality brother’s love each other so fiercely !!Harry was a villain but his action made a magic between bothers!! Love you all Cartwrights!!

    1. We need some good villains to mix things up for our boys. Thank for always taking time to review. Very much appreciated.

    1. Thank you and yes, we all need to think about what’s important to us and what’s really not.

  6. When I saw the story I knew it would like to read it but I need time for it. Now I can say the time I finally had and used was worth it! A good story! I like your use of “time” as a thread through the story.

    1. I’m so glad you found time to read it through and enjoyed it. The whole time thread almost wrote itself and I’m very glad it worked. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts.

  7. This was certainly an exciting story with the brothers’ conflicts and Ben trying to help each one move into a new relationship with the other. You had Adam and Joe written perfectly. The tension in the back half of the story was palpable and nail biting. Loved the JAM at the end and the family dynamics beginning to change around these two brothers.

    1. Thank you for such a lovely detailed review. I love writing this family so I’m very happy when readers like reading it too.

    1. That whole “time” theme seemed to just write itself into the story and it seemed to fit well. Yes, Joe did do some growing up the hard way. I think Adam might have done a bit of growing too.

    1. That’s a huge compliment coming from you. I love writing the two of them so I guess it comes out in the story.

    1. Thanks for letting me know that you liked it. I enjoyed writing it as it was my first attempt at Joe being that young and Adam not quite sure of himself yet.

    1. The tension just seems to roll out on its own when I write this lot :-). Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for letting me know.
