I love the opening and the ending, (and everything in between). Yes, the Lion Cub has roared; more like a loud purr. But just wait until his mane surrounds his head like a crown and his chest has broadened thick enough to sound the roar that will be heard around the world.
Long live the Lion Cub!
Author’s Response: Thank you so much, BluewindFarm … I thought that was a really really good review and yes, that boy surely has purred loudly, and when he does get his full roar …. 😉 Thanks again so much Krystyna

Great story. That’s the fate of having a younger brother, always have the responsibility of his savety ( I have a 6 years younger one myself). Ben is asking a lot from Adam to take care of Joe at this age without tieing him down. Joe can be lucky to have such a kind and loving brother. I could sit there crying with Adam when he thought Joe died in the hotel.
Author’s Response: The picture I had of Adam outside that hotel had me in tears as I wrote it down, which sounds a bit weird really, but nonetheless true. Thank you, this is one of my favorite stories so I am glad you enjoyed it, sunrider. Krystyna

Loved this story of Joe wanting to be a man. I always picture Adam as being that “father” figure to Joe and always wanting to protect him. Thanks for sharing with us Krystyna 🙂
Author’s Response: Oh so glad you enjoyed this one, lovemychico. Thank you so very much for your review and I so agree with you, in many ways I see Adam as the father figure to Joe as well. I hope my stories reflect that … Krystyna

Wonderful story of the brothers interacting with one another. Adam facing the new challenges presented to him by his father and Joe trying to prove himself to himself.
Per chance are you originally from Australia or lived or traveled in Australia? At one point Hoss replies to Adam, “Too right.” I thought I read that is more of an Australian phrase.
Author’s Response: Many thanks for this review, Chavel47, I truly appreciated it and no, I’m not Australian … mmm, seems I made a faux pas although I didn’t realise it at the time LOL. Never mind, so long as you enjoyed the story. Many thanks, Cahvel47. Krystyna

Fifteen. Life would be wonderful if nobody ever had to be fifteen! Boredom and babying, that’s fifteen! And I’ve been assured by my many teenage grandkids that nothing has changed about being fifteen since I was that age. I empathized with Joe (and poor Adam) all the way through this wonderful story.
Author’s Response: Thank you so much, mohegan, this was such fun to write and I loved writing it. Poor Joe but really they all suffered …thanks to Joe LOL. So glad you enjoyed the story, many thanks for letting me know. Krystyna

Hurrah! You’ve posted this masterpiece in the library! I’ve left detailed comments on the forum where you posted this as a WIP, but I want everyone to know this is a wonderful story that deserves to be read over and over and over again.
Judy
Author’s Response: I was absolutely thrilled with your comments, Judy, they were so complimentary to the story. It was the first time I had read it in ages. But to know you have re-read it and still enjoy it so much was so heart warming to know. Thank you very, very much. Krystyna
I loved this story. I know I read it awhile ago. While reading it this time, bits and pieces started coming back to me, but it didn’t take away the enjoyment. Really enjoyed the 3 C’s at this stage of their lives.
Hi Bonanza Lady….so very glad that you enjoyed this story, again.. The proof of a good tale is if readers return to read it again…..and I do so appreciate that you let me know. There was a lot of differing emotions involved in this story, and the ending..well I did enjoy writing that …..

Loved every adventure packed moment of this great story about a boy becoming a man – and the older brothers that helped him do it.
Heartwarming, exciting, gut clenching, and so many wonderful moments of caring between brothers! I loved this story when I first read it years ago, and appreciate it even more now!
The lion king and his lion cub.. the perfect comparison between Joe and Ben. And Adam and Hoss cant help but be the over protective big brothers, can they?
I apologise for not responding earlier, Carrie….dear me, what a lot of time has passed since you wrote this lovely
Encouraging review. And it was encouraging to receive it, even all this time later …many thanks indeed.
Je viens de lire cette histoire avec beaucoup d’émotion. Totalement dans le caractère des personnages respectifs, j’ai adoré, comme le lionceau fait pour devenir un lion. Toujours aussi belles vos histoires. Merci, Krystyna

To be honest I’ve read this story several times. I love how you succeeded in having each son shine their special talents and gifts. The story was wonderfully written and the action steady and made my heart feel for the responsible Adam and tears bead up for Hoss’ horse, and all the while smile at Joe and his determined, stubborn, adorable antics. Great stories are the ones you choose to read again and again just because the give you joy. Thanks Judi
So loved writing this story … and so glad you enjoyed it so much, Judy. Thank you for letting me know it meant a great deal to me . Thanks again 🌹
Read this long ago under the title “The Man Cub.” No matter what it’s called … it’s a great story. I keenly felt the loss of Pal, as well. Very moving, Krystyna.
Thank you Cheaux…glad you returned to read this again. Mor tan pleased you enjoyed it too and left this review, thanks again…
Can’t wait to hear his roar, and watch his crowning mane mark his maturity. Long Live the Lion Cub!!!
Thank you so much BWF…I really enjoyed writing this story and your comments on it really cheers one up.
Nice coming-of-age story, Krys. A touch of drama for all three young cubs.
