Fun story I enjoyed reading very much, Krystynaw.   Loved this:  “He … stuffed a dead frog back into his other pocket (it had been alive when he put it in his pocket and couldn’t think for the life of him how come it was dead) …”  That is just so typical of mischevious little boys and I can just see Joe doing that.  Thanks for the image and the laugh!

One of my favourite comedies. I think I’ve said it before (must have been in a review on BW, but since those are lost, I gladly say it again) I LOVE your Widow Hawkins. I mean I love her anyway, but you make her the cream on top of this delightful story.

What a great and funny story. I like the young(er) Joe/Hoss/Adam stories a lot and this one was great. Everybody trying to get Adam’s posession back in a good way. The antics around this were really great.

I read this story as a WIP in the reading room. I love stories about the boys being young. Little Joe nothing but mischief in his head, Hoss so cude and Adam on his way to a smart handsome young man. This story is so much fun to read.
