Thoughts (by pkmoonshine)

Such a sad but beautiful story.  In my own little world, I always pretend that Hoss never died, but you did a beautiful job with portraying what Ben, Adam, and Joe must have felt.  The flashbacks gave us a bit a view of the past, events that led them to where they are.  Thank you for sharing this!       —Destiny Adams                                                                          August 7, 2011

Oh boy…talk about lump in my throat! Although I’m not usually a fan of ‘death’ fic this was the exception. Very poignant and well written…and believable! Thanks for a most enjoyable read, even if I was sniffling!                 —Dodo                         August 26, 2009

I've been a fan of the Cartwright family for many, many years, and I enjoy writing stories about them. I love them all, however, Ben is my favorite.

    1. Thank you for your feedback; very much appreciated. I believe the have someone keeping watch over them, too.

    1. Thank you for your feedback. It’s much appreciated. I also apologize for taking as long as I did to respond.

  1. What an emotional little scene. Such a difficult time for them, trying to say goodbye to what they were—and undeserved guilt only makes things worse. Ben’s patience and love is paying off, though. And that last little section … ?

    Thanks for writing!

    1. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it very much. As for that last little section, I like to think that the father and brothers left behind have a new guardian angel sent to see them through the valley and shadow of grief to that place of healing.

I also apologize for taking as long as I did to respond to your feedback.

  2. I thought the opening section, revealing Ben’s emotions was very strong. The middle left me wanting more, both of the brothers’ feelings and the circumstances that led to their sense of guilt. However, the final section, written from Hoss’s perspective, was beautiful and provided a perfect conclusion.

    1. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts about the story, Puchi. I appreciate hearing from you very much.
