So This is Christmas by mumu74

Dedicated to all the victims of terrorism….. Christmas time is a time for peace, and I wish peace on earth for me, for my children, for my family , for my friends and for everybody in the world.

“So this is Christmas, and what have you done”, Adam asked me with a sad expression on his face. It was six months after he had survived  the hell he had been thrown in because of Peter Kane.  I could feel how my son was still distressed, he tried to  assure that everything  would turn out well, But I could see on his face that he was deeply touched by what he had had to face. As if he would have lost his faith  in humanity. That was what he had told me , one night, as a nightmare had awoke him. My son had had disturbed night since it had happened and six months later, I could feel, there still was tension in his body. I came close to him and put my hand on his shoulder. I was hoping, it would help him to relax. He smiled to me and gave me a glass of brandy.

“Pa, I hope, I’ll soon be able to forget that terrible moment”, he whispered. I told him “you won’t forget, son, but you’ll learn to live with,  and you know, your brothers and I, we’ll always be there for you, to help you if you need support”.

“Thanks Pa, it means a lot for me”. I would never forget any seconds of the moment when we had found him, the way he had broken down in my arms.
