A lot of great Joe/Adam and Joe/Pa interaction. Very emotional story and well worth reading over and over! This is an A plus story.Author’s Response:Denise,I’m glad you gave the story another read in its entirety. Thank you for your request after RTHOTP was posted for a follow-up story. I had thought to have Part Two tell Joe’s POV, but I couldn’t pull it off. So I decided on a continuation with Joe’s experiences being told in flashback sequences. It was quite exhausting to write, imagining the scenes of the story and then putting them to paper. I hate to say it, but I was quite happy to finally say, The End.

This is a wonderful series. I enjoy reading this prequel as it captures the spirit and the essence of all of the Cartwrights as they heal after a trauma.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories. I love how Adam is the one to find him and I adore a young Joe! It is wonderful to read about the whole family caring for Joe….great story!!!!!!
I just wanted you to know I have re-read Restoring The Heart. I didn’t see my previous review so I’ll let you this a story I love to get into and have a hard time getting away from. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Bonanza fanfic. I know it’s a story I’ll read again.
