Huckleberry Friends – by Sue

Summary: This is my take on what might have happened if Mark Twain had revisited the Ponderosa seeking inspiration. It is meant as a purely affectionate look at my favourite tv family. It mainly features Hoss and Joe although the whole family appears.

Same Differences – by Sue

Summary: I have referred to some Bonanza episodes in this story particularly The Avenger but also A Rose for Lotta, Mr Henry Comstock and The Hanging Posse. The story should make sense if you haven’t watched those episodes though.

Something Inside So Strong – by Sue

Summary: It’s been a good day for The Cartwright boys…until they get home.
Rated: K+  WC 43,500

Stop Crying Your Heart Out – by Sue

Summary: Little Joe is in no hurry to get up this morning. A story about brothers looking out for each other.
Rated: K+  WC 5800

Une Petite Mort “A Little Death” – by Sue

Summary: A ‘what happened in between and next’ for one of my favourite episodes, Julia Bulette. I always felt the fever was glossed over in the show due to time constraints. A lot of people died and Joe and Julia nursed sick people for days, maybe weeks. I have gone into what might have happened in this story.
Also where had Joe been when he rode home to see his father the night they argued so fiercely. What were both their feelings before and after that fight. What happened after Joe proposed and rode home and also after Julia’s funeral. How was he with his father and his brothers?
Rated: T WC 55,200
