Summary:  An accident caused by Little Joe, and a prank by all three brothers leads to an unexpected result for Ben.

Story by story in this series, Kate becomes more and more involved in Adam’s life first acting as his nurse several times when he is injured as he faces troubles, and then as his love interest.  She has an unhappy past though which Adam has to unravel to win her heart, and then they face heartache as well as joy together.  She is introduced in this first story as Adam faces a significant challenge and his family deals with heartache.

Summary:  First part of the story is based in part on the episode The Hopefuls — Adam and Regina had been in love, but circumstances drove them apart. She kept a secret though, and five years later, it will cause dramatic changes in Adam’s life.

Summary:  Adam met Meredith when she was a young girl and a friend of Joe’s. When he sees her again, she is a beautiful woman with a sad, dark secret. Love, romance, finding out her secret, and dealing with her past make up the rest of the story.
