SUMMARY: A prequel with Joe at fifteen, this started as a pinecone and has been expanded. Little Joe faces a crisis when an important rule is ignored. He needs his family to face the results of that sad decision. There are lessons to be learned but the whole family works together, and all will learn from one tragic mistake.

Summary: Written for the 2018 Missing Man Challenge – Add Adam into an episode after Season 6 as if he has always been there. I chose The Fighters, Season 7, Episode 30.

SUMMARY:  It is several years later and Adam has sent a message that he will be visiting the Ponderosa. There are many questions his family has for him and they would like answers such as what has happened to his marriage and why is he traveling so much. Jamie figures prominently in this story.

Summary: This piece is a WHN and WHB for season thirteen’s ‘Bushwhacked!’.  Even as a child I was troubled by Joe’s fever dream image of his beloved brother Hoss pulling out a pistol and shooting him.  I have read a lot of fan fiction’s based on Bushwhacked and though a few have tackled the issue, none have to my satisfaction.

This is my idea of how and why Joe might have thought his big brother was trying to kill him.

Summary:  Ben stops by to visit with an old friend on the occasion of a big change in the family.  It’s a combination of some Pinecone challenges on Bonanza Brand and an April Fool’s challenge on another site with a story line to pull them all together.

Summary: After the scandal surrounding his fiancee’s death, Clem Foster isn’t sure if he has anymore friends left in Virginia City. So he’s determined to do the one thing he feels he can: leave town and never come back.

SUMMARY:  This is my entry for the Missing Man Challenge.  The episode is The Other Son and Adam has been added to the story line.  The rest of the story of moving the nitroglycerin across the mountains remains intact.
