Summary: Guilt and mistakes – nobody is free of them. It’s not only the big guilt following bad deeds that can affect your life, but also mistakes and misinterpretations. There are many shades of guilt, as even the Cartwrights had to learn.

The story is set in 1863 and shows Adam as a substitute teacher.

Summary: During the last quarter of 2015, members in the Brand Forums were challenged to write vignettes for all the Bonanza episodes. Members could submit as many Little Bits for as many episodes as they were inspired to write. Multiple members could submit Little Bits for the same episode. The hardest part of the challenge was to write the vignette in exactly 100 or 200 words.
Some Little Bits are dramatic while others are humorous. The submitting member is identified after each Little Bit. 132 Little Bits have been submitted to date and are listed in episode order.

It’s a scandal, that much is certain, and Adam becomes aware of it only when it’s much too late to do anything about it. But that doesn’t mean he can’t get agitated. Even though, taking everything in account….

SUMMARY:  It’s December of 1864 and Joe is conscripted, but Adam goes in his place.  It is a tumultuous ten months and that scripture reading that seemed so ominous seems to come true.  Chapter 1 is my NaNoWriMo novel, Revelations, for 2015 and just barely made the minimum number of words at 53,434 and that’s why there’s that little romance at the end. It’s a little lightness too in a story that has a lot of darkness in it.  The second chapter is the sequel, Love Never Ends, with the emphasis on Adam’s adjustment to being at home and being in a romantic relationship that has to develop amid turmoil and threats to his life.
