Summary: This piece is a WHN and WHB for season thirteen’s ‘Bushwhacked!’. Even as a child I was troubled by Joe’s fever dream image of his beloved brother Hoss pulling out a pistol and shooting him. I have read a lot of fan fiction’s based on Bushwhacked and though a few have tackled the issue, none have to my satisfaction.
This is my idea of how and why Joe might have thought his big brother was trying to kill him.

Summary: My entry for the Camp In the Pines 2018, the story grew from a pinecone about wasps attacking. If you read it, you will find the ending familiar. The rest of the story is a backstory for how that came to be. This is mostly a Hoss story but all members of the family play roles in the story.

SUMMARY: This story brings together Everett/Rett Stoddard from the Impasse story and Sophie/Sierra from the A Necessary Sham story into a drama of settling old problems and dealing with new intrigue as well as dealing with Adam’s dissatisfaction with his life on the Ponderosa. It’s a lot to do in six chapters so the story is fast paced.
